For the release of WD-40’s EZ-Reach can, The Shipyard agency hired imageflux to create animated content. Initially, this meant building a looping web banner to show off the new can’s 8-inch flexible straw, that bends and keeps its shape to get into hard-to-reach places.

Then, we were asked to create a short animation for Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Once we noticed the can could line up perfectly with the cylindrical shape of this billboard, we pitched the idea to turn the building into a giant WD-40 can.

The result was a very successful and (ahem) uncanny bit of outdoor marketing.
