imageflux created this key art for Silberline, a global leader in producing aluminum effect pigments for coatings, paints, inks, and plastics.
Our objective was to visualize Silberline’s patented aluminum pigments on a microscopic scale. Inspiration came from real electron microscope imagery of 3 of Silberline’s metallic pigment formations: “cornflake”, “silver dollar” and “spherical” aluminum powder.
Animations show each of the three pigments at different orders of magnitude.
Key frames from each animation were then rendered at higher resolution, for print applications such as trade show banners.
