We teamed up with Verizon 5G Labs, Twitch and Studio G on this cutting-edge streaming experience. Twitch host @StorymodeBae and Grammy-winning artist @Nija stepped onto an XR stage at the 5G Lab in Los Angeles to stream a live, interactive performance on Twitch, powered by the ultra-low latency of 5G.
Musicians go through rounds of performances like a game. To help reach the next “Level” the audience watching on Twitch spams the chat with specific emotes.
A unique logo and design system reflected the spirit of the show: able to morph into anything, wildly creative and tech-savvy.
The identity branding for the show also went into Twitch and Verizon’s promotional material in advance of the live stream.
imageflux not only branded the show with a unique logo and graphics package, but designed, built and programmed the interactive, real-time virtual XR environment in Unreal Engine and Disguise D3.
The tech enabling interaction between the Twitch audience and the XR stage resulted in a patent by Verizon.
Levels featured Capitol Records artists, so the inspiration for the virtual environment came from the classic Capitol Records studio in Hollywood, CA.
We digitally scanned the iconic studio, then rebuilt it as a futuristic living “holodeck” that transforms to create the different “Levels”.
